Commander Cave

Phong Nha has been the highlight of the journey so far because of its amazing caves. One of which is the Commander cave. This cave was an impenetrable natural fortress of Northern Vietnam during the Vietnam War. The notorious Ho Chi Minh trail winds along it. This area way subject to daily bombardments by the US and is considered to be the most heavily bombed area in history.
