Dalat

Da Lat was built by the French colonizers as a Spa and retreat city. This is evident in the architecture of their buildings. It is also located highlands, and as arrived in he night, it was almost cold.

On my first day I climbed up the Langbiang, the highest elevation in the area. One way is only about 2 hours. The true challenge was the mud. Due to the rainy season, especially the last part of the ascent was extremely slippery. It was also very steep.
