I cant really say anything about this statue. Except that you can see it from far away in the city. Hence, it ranks high in the perceived tourist importance scale. Accordingly it was very crowded. It was there, where I had a conversation in Russian, again after a long time. I was almost abit proud of myself. The conversation, however took an abrupt end, when I used the word "oккупировать" in the context of the Russian presence in Crimea. Probably should choose my topics more wisely. But their travel organisation was called (and that is true!): Anex.
