On the same day as the Pepper plantation I went up Mount Bokor. As I saw from afar the peak was engulfed an a thick layer of fog. Visibility was just few hundreds meters. After a while, it was painful on the eyes to not being able to see far.

Atop the mountain was the so called Bokor Hill Station. A resort built by the French, and still a theoretically functioning hotel. It was not open, but you glimpse in to it. Together with the fog it radiated very strong The Shining vibes. Very eerie.

The next day I departed to Koh Rong, a little island off the cost. To get to the nearest coastal city. I took the train.
