I arrived in Cambodia and Phnom Penh a bit premature. I have not really finished Vietnam, but my Visa expired. I only saw half of HCMC and had to skip the Mekong Delta altogether. :( Just more reason to return to Vietnam and to finish.

But for now I am in Cambodia, and in the following are some impressions of Phnom Penh.

The Cambodian Vietnamese Friendship Monument. The Cambodians saved Vietnam's ass during the Vietnam war. And Vietnam saved Cambodia's ass from the Khmer Rouge.. Thats what they are mutually grateful for.
